Each of the GP designers was encouraged to reach out and collab with a member of the design team they haven't worked with before this month. They came up with Quality Time. It's perfect for all those everyday fun photos with the family, as well as special event and heritage photos, too! I saw this idea on Summertime Designs, after showing it to Spencer he decided that he really liked it. I was so excited to make them!! I did learn that when I took the picture that I should have had the boys hold their hands out more so that their fist were bigger in the picture, it would have matched the sucker a bit better. None the less- I really love how they turned out!!

I did use Stolen Moments "Heartbreaker" kit for the embellishments.

I have found that templates are one of most favorite things to use when scrapping. It takes a lot of the guess work out of things for you and lets you focus more on what you are wanting to scrap. Laurie's Scraps has a new template set out this week that I love!!!

Can I just say that I LOVE wm [squared] designs?! I am LOVING being a guest this month for her and playing with some of her new stuff. This week she celebrated a birthday and had a major sale. I hope you are all LOVING the blog train!! So my favorite birthday... I would have to say that the birthday I just celebrated in April was probably one of my best birthdays yet. My husband took the day off work, I went and got a pedicure in the morning and did a little shopping. Then we grabbed a quick small lunch. Went home and hung out for a bit until we picked up the babysitter. He then took me to a 'fancy' place for dinner and I had the best steak ever! It was super early so we just went to another store for a bit until he told me that he had another plan, so we needed to get moving. We were driving and all I kept saying was why are we going home? We got about a mile from home when he pulled into Dairy Queen and surprised me with several friends. He tried to tell me that we were going to DQ for dessert, even though I was not hungry at all after my huge dinner. I was unbelievably surprised. I have been married almost 10 years and my husband has never really surprised me. It was so fun to finish the night with friends and some of my family who came. It was really the best yet!!

Now my template was from a speed scrap that I did and I really like how the layout turned out, so I made it into my template for you. I hope you enjoy!

K- I have been gone for a while and it has been REALLY hard to try to jump back into things, so I am sorry. Today I have 3 different kits/ products from my amazing designers!!

First I am going to start with Laurie's Scraps new kit- A Dream is a Wish. She is in the process of making several 'princess' kits that will all go together nicely. Now I don't have any girls to scrap, so I found a couple of pictures from our Disney World trip in 2004 and scrapped those.
Next I have a bright, fun kit by Graham Like the Cracker and her collab partner Connie Prince- Mischief Monsters. Now this kit was just what I love- perfect colors and elements to scrap those silly boys I have.

And last from Trixie Scraps latest volume in her "Star Struck" line of templates. It is available for sale in her guest shop at The Digichick for the remainder of this month. This set is based on Melissa's fabulous layouts and I think it turned out great! Love Melissa's clustered style - it ROCKS!
