New Kits and ADSR Layouts

I love Fridays- that means that I have new kits that my wonderful designers have made for you!!! First I will show you Laurie's Scraps 'Circus of Life'. Once again she nailed this kit- I love the elements, word art and colors. Don't forget to grab it while it's on sale!!

And here is my layout:

Next is a new collab kit Trixie Scraps has out with Madame Wing. If you are ready for spring- then this will only help put you in the mood. Daisy Crazy is such a fun kit!!

Daisy flowers are my favorite so when I saw this kit I instantly wanted it- however I only have boys and figured I would have nothing to scrap. Then I decided to use the kit to make the latest layout for ADSR5- our bucket list. So here is my layout:

Also she has two other new products this week - both are sets of glitter styles for CU/personal use. They include both the style sets for Photoshop 7.0 and above, as well as individual 8x8 sheets of glitter saved in PNG format, for those who can't use the styles. Best of all, the downloads are divided according to sheets and styles, so you can choose to download only what you need or will use!

First up is a set of glitters that coordinate with her brand new collab, Daisy Crazy glitter styles:

And then, she also loaded a coordinating set of glitter styles for Gotta Hug into the store this week!

Here is a coupon code to use on thenew collab kit, Daisy Crazy. But, hurry! It's only good for 20% off the kit until Sunday night. The code is: Crazy4Daisy ENJOY!!!

Now for challenge #8 we were suppose to do a layout with at least 10 elements, tone on tone background paper and it needed to have the word 'someday' either in the title or in the journaling- so here is my layout:
I used Trixie Scraps- Hot for Teacher.

ADSR 5 Layouts

I am WAY behind on posting these. I just realized that I haven't posted since the first 2 challenges and we are working on #7 and #8 this week. So here are my layouts:

Challenge #3- One focal photo with selective coloring, 20 or more words of journaling with possible highlights, at least one date element!

(Kit By: Laurie's Scraps- Rub a Dub Dub)

Challenge #4: Make one Artist Trading Card on the theme "The One I Love." Then each racer will make one trading card honoring their ADSR teammate. These are suppose to be fun, light hearted, and corky. We then had to combine them into one layout to present- so here you go.

(We used kits by: Trixie Scraps- 'Gotta Hug' and Stash Happy- 'Move Along')

Challenge #5: We had to incorperate chocolate into our layout and use at least 6 of the 10 elements they listed. I used- an alpha, 2 papers (or more), a frame, button, ribbon, a staple and a tag.

(Kit By: Laurie's Scraps- 'Birthday Fun')

Now challenge #6 was a road block, so only person had to do it. Kris so graciously did it for our team. Check her blog for the layout. I have finished both #7 and #8, but one was made with a new kit coming out tomorrow, so check back tomorrow for the kit release and the layout. :)

ADSR 5

When I first saw this I had to ask someone what it was. It stands for Amazing Digital Scrapbooking Race. This is the 5th year- thus the #5. The Amazing Race is one of my all time favorite shows, so I thought how fun would this be?! I talked my good friend into doing it with me. Here are our first two challenge layouts:

Mine-
Kris's-
These layouts were for the first challenge which was to find a layout your partner has made and scraplift it, use one picture of your partner and 'introduce' or tell about your partner.

Mine-
Kris's-
These layouts are for the second challenge- we had to use 5 pictures, repeat 5 elements, one picture had to have the number 5 in it and we had to 5 things we love about the pictures. Aren't they fun layouts? Fun challenges, they make you step outside your box and be a little creative.

I also need to show off my layout I did with Gettin' Scrappy with Britt's new kit 'Good Night, Sleep Tight'. I downloaded this kit before my computer hard drive died, then we had a sudden trip to my husband's grandmother's funeral. Better late than never. :)
